IT said no to the cloud reporting tool. This one never asked.
The shift report, the audit pack, the monthly compliance deck, built from SQL Server, the historian or the file share behind your firewall, on the analyst's own PC. No agent, no service, no outbound connection, and no copy of your data anywhere else. There is nothing for the security questionnaire to catch.
Also called: Microsoft PowerPoint automation behind the firewall, data to PowerPoint automation, SQL Server to PowerPoint, compliance reporting in PowerPoint.

Connect behind the firewall
SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, ODBC, OData and OPC, with the credentials the analyst already has. No agent, no service, no cloud.
Bind the pack
Every figure, chart and table in the compliance deck bound to its query. Conditional formatting turns a breach red on the slide, not in a spreadsheet nobody opens.
Refresh on the schedule
Shift, week or month: Refresh, review the exceptions, send. Or generate one deck per site with Snapshot.
Somebody rebuilds this every shift, every week, every month.
The data is already in SQL Server, the historian or the file share. The deck is the same shape every time. Between those two facts sits a person exporting, pasting and checking against a deadline that does not move, because the tool that would have automated it was never allowed on the network.
The same deck, rebuilt
Shift, week and month, one per site or per line, each one assembled by hand from queries somebody runs the same way every time.
A copy that should not exist
The data leaves the system to be pasted into a slide. That is the step the security questionnaire was written to prevent, and it happens every cycle anyway.
Found late, in a spreadsheet
A limit exceeded is noticed when somebody opens the right tab, not on the morning it happens.
Work out what that is worth in your own numbers: decks in a cycle, cycles a year, hours to build one, cost of an hour. Put your four numbers in. Arconic and Teollisuuden Voima run their reporting on INSYNCR; neither has published what it saved them, so this page claims no figure for them.

What it looked like before, and after.

“Once I linked the objects for the first company, I could generate all the scorecards in one click. That saved us four months of work.”A private equity firm's annual sustainability scorecard for 55 portfolio companies: four months of manual work by one person became two to three hours to refresh and generate all the reports.
Your sources, your template, your reviewers
- Your data behind your firewall, with your access rules
- Your report template and your sign off chain
- Your air gapped or virtual desktops, if that is how you run
What stops happening
- No export to a laptop to build the deck
- No screenshot of a dashboard pasted into a slide
- A breach is red on the slide the morning it happens
- The auditor gets the same deck every time, from the same query
AI can draft your deck. It cannot promise that slide 4 matches the ledger.
A generated number is a guess that reads well. A bound number is a cell, a query or a field you can point at, inspect and explain to someone who cannot read code. When the report has a consequence, that difference is the product.
Fluent, and unaccountable
Ask an assistant for the quarterly pack and you get a plausible deck. Nobody can tell a correct rule from a convincing wrong one, and a report generated for the wrong client is a perfectly correct report. Nothing downstream detects it.
Every number has an address
Each figure, chart and table in the slide is linked to the exact cell, view or field it came from. Refresh brings the new data through the same link. The reviewer checks what changed, and the auditor can follow the line back.
Use Copilot to write the commentary. Use INSYNCR to make sure the numbers under it are real.
Nothing leaves the building.
Runs on the user's PC, with the user's own access
A tab in PowerPoint. Sources open with the permissions the user already has; INSYNCR adds none and stores none. There is no INSYNCR cloud and no copy of your data anywhere else.
An installer, an interface, support, and a person
What a script on someone's laptop does not have, the night before the board meeting.
Questions people ask before they try it
Does anything leave our network?
No. INSYNCR runs inside PowerPoint on the user's PC, connects to SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, ODBC, OData or OPC with that user's credentials, and writes the output where PowerPoint saves. There is no INSYNCR cloud.
Does it work on air gapped or virtual desktops?
Yes. Windows 10 and 11, Windows Server 2012 to 2025. If desktops are rebuilt each session, tell us on the quote request and the licenses are set to check out per session.
Can a breach show up on the slide automatically?
Yes. Conditional formatting binds colors, fonts and chart series to the value, so a limit exceeded turns red on the slide the morning it happens, without a spreadsheet step in between.
Can we generate one deck per site or per shift?
Yes. Snapshot produces one deck per record, so one template gives one file per plant, line or shift, named by the field you choose.
What does IT need to approve?
A standard Windows installer, no agent, no service, no outbound connection. The IT summary and the VPAT are on the For IT page, and purchase orders are welcome.

The teams that buy it for this.
Insurance and healthcare
Board and regulator packs built on systems that no cloud service is cleared to read.
Energy, utilities and industry
Safety and production reporting, often from OPC on the plant network.
Government and the public sector
Programme and ministry reporting where the data cannot leave the estate.
Four signs it is
- A cloud reporting tool was rejected by IT or by legal
- The data sits behind a firewall with no outbound route
- The security questionnaire is the longest part of the purchase
- The report is built on a machine that cannot reach the internet

INSYNCR is an add in. It runs inside PowerPoint on the user's own Windows machine and reads the source with the user's own credentials. There is no INSYNCR server in the path and nothing is uploaded, which is the whole reason a regulated site can use it.
