You have the installer

The first five minutes.

Install it, link one number, press Refresh. That one link is the whole idea, and everything else in INSYNCR is a bigger version of it.

Do these in order
  1. Run the installer. Windows, with Microsoft PowerPoint 2016 or later. It takes about a minute and it does not touch your files.
  2. Open Microsoft PowerPoint. There is a new INSYNCR tab in the ribbon. If you had PowerPoint open while it installed, close it and open it again.
  3. Connect the data you already have. An Excel file is the quickest first one. Nothing is uploaded: INSYNCR reads the source from your own machine, with your own credentials.
  4. Bind one number. Click a text box on a slide, pick the cell it should show, and that text box now knows where its number comes from.
  5. Press Refresh. The slide updates from the source. Change the number in Excel, press Refresh again, and watch it follow.

There is no key to enter. Installing is what starts the 7 days. If the last step works, the product works. Everything after this is the same move on more numbers, more slides and bigger sources.

If something is not right

The three things that go wrong first.

No INSYNCR tab in the ribbon. Close PowerPoint completely and open it again. If it is still missing, check you are on Office 2016 or later and on Windows: INSYNCR is a PowerPoint add in and there is no Mac or web version.

You are waiting for a licence key. You are not missing one. A trial does not use a key: install it and you have 7 days of full access to your plan. A licence only comes into it when you buy.

Your source is not in the list. Each plan reads a different set. Starter is Excel and Excel Online; Business adds SharePoint, Google Sheets, Access and more; Professional adds SQL Server, Salesforce, Oracle and ODBC. The pricing page has the full list per plan.
